Large gym. Very clean. Plenty of equipment and no waiting for machines. Great prices!
The Berlin, NJ location is only a year old. They keep it very clean. Some of the equipment has had problems in the past but they fix them quickly. Music quietly plays throughout and there are approximately 20 televisions set up for when you are using treadmills, bicycles, elliptical etc.
Started here about 6 months ago to get in shape and lose some weight. I have kept coming because of the clean and convenient location that has a good selection of equipment and is rarely too busy to get in a good workout without waiting. I also like that the locker room lockers have built in locks so I do not have to bring that with me.
Clean. Good size parking lot. Friendly staff. Open 24 hours. Just seems a little smaller than some of their other locations.
The Club is nice. I was immediately made to feel like an outsider though at the front counter. This is one of those clubs where they make you sign a form as though you were a guest at the club. Also i was notified I was only allowed ten visits here. I joined planet fitness and I paid for and membership that worked at all clubs. Making me sign a form at the front counter does not make someone feel a part of the planet fitness family. Either planet fitness is a group of individual clubs or it is Planet Fitness. Franchises one by one can kill the entire concept with little things like this.
